The front lawn of the Hamlin Garland boyhood home at 3907 Noble Avenue has proven to be a great location for the annual Hamlin Garland summer poetry reading. The setting takes to readers and the participants back in time. We could see, feel, hear, and smell the sights and sounds of the 1870’s. The 2019 event will happen on Sunday, June 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. featuring poetry by Hamlin Garland.
